Hi there all in landyzone.. i hope all is well
I know I said it would be a wait for a bit before I did another ..if it helps.. due to being a bit skint.
RE 3rd hi brake light.. Additional.
Due to being aged and off colour I wanted to change mine out, and I did it recently on one of my if it helps posts
I forgot to add in the write-up about using silicone sealer..
So the top spoiler off refitted the new hi level brake light and greased in the screws
then I sealed along the top 'push fittings' and along the top glass edge and both side glass edges using black silicone sealer and forced it in the gaps and wiped of any excess and cleaned up..
It looks factory.. Not bodged
Now after some glorious days of endless bloody rain, it has stopped for a bit and I opened up the tailgate,
forgetting to open it halfway and then down to release any trapped water,
so I just opened it straight up..
Next to no water dripped off and none went on the parcel shelf
I am very happy with that, it was something that bugged me a lot
I also used a body cavity wax inside the tailgate using the long spray applicator nozzle..
So that hopefully will/might stop any problems of rust there.. the costs were
£26 new light ( optional )
£6 black silicone sealer
£8 body cavity wax ( not to be confused with waxing around a body cavity..hmm  )
All was bought from Messrs.. Who flung dung, wun hunglow and their friend sum tingwong from the bay'
If it helps..;)
