Hi guys, I've got the 3 smiths gauges that fit in the center of the dash, fuel oil and pressure and voltage, my question is where the bloody hell to do I wire them to, and by that I mean is there a specific loom in the dash or behind it or do I have to wire each gauge up to the separate sensors and bits in the engine bay, thanks in advance, Chris Herrity.

if you have a look on the wiring diagrams you should find that each gauge will have a different colour coded wire(s), it'll also show what the gauge is connected to. hopefully if you have a look at all your unconnected wires you'll find the right coloured ones!

what state is you wiring in at the moment?

I dont think you will find any wires in the dash for these if not fitted originally, as land rover were one of the last to fit a universal harness they fitted as required, supplementary harnesses IIRC
The volt guage , one side to earth, the other to an ign live or will lead to flat batts. The oil will also need a pressure transmitter unit, unless its the capillary type, either way you will need a T piece to fit where low oil pressure switch is fitted. You dont say if temp or pressure. The fuel , is that for auxillary tank, if not you dont need as you should already have fuel guage. HTSH
