I've tried heat, my impact gun, breaker bar, even a big hammer, but it won't give.

I can turn the bolt with my breaker bar, but the thread isn't turning, seems as if the bolt is just twisting in the sleeve.

Any suggestions???

Thanks!!

Microcat shows it's just a straightforward bolt with an unthreaded shoulder - see pic.

The only other idea for shifting it is if there is clearance between the chassis rails to insert a bottle jack or similar with an appropriate bar to apply outward pressure on the bolt while you heat it and whack it.

I had the same problem and the suggestions were mostly around, grinding the bolt off and using a fooking big hammer and punch and knocking the bolt thro. only trouble being this will be towards the tank (presume same as a D1). Solution tap an inch out, grind off and keep repeating until free!

TBH - mine was booked into the garage for some other relates work. so they done it with an air hammer, grinder and heat!

Good luck. I'm going to tackle the ERG bolts now......

Put some Easit on it leave to soak. Replace nut just to end of thread and tap it loose. Once you get it moving more Easit and tap it in and out until if frees up.
