Im pretty new to this landrover malarky and i allways wanted one, So when i had the chance to get one i did,
i first looked at a series 2a last week which was pretty rotton so it got left due to the long distance i needed to take it, So i tried twigworth breakers in gloucester and there was this series 3.
its pretty tidy with hardly any rust, well, it is allmost all alloy, It had been sitting there for 3 weeks, so the guy put in a gallon of fuel and with a little coaxing it started, it had £595 on the windscreen so i put up £520 and the deal was done, i saved it cause it was allmost going to be pulled apart for spares.
A risky move buying it cause i had to travel 240 miles to get it back home, but it made it.
All i have to do is clean it up and respray it so i have lots of work to do on it.
so thats my little story, hope to see you round the forums with some of my project pics, or just check out my gallery now and again.
anyone got a defender grill to put on it......
