hi would love some engine advice please

Hi all I have an old freight rover Sherpa van and although he is now unsound in body, his land rover engine is solid. Does anyone have any idea of its potential value as we are looking for funds for a new van thanks in advance, hope it's ok to post here as Van Morrison is not officially a land rover but he has driven over the alps!

Welcome to the forum, eBay is probably your best indicator. Look at completed listing as this will give you an idea of its worth. With the seemingly endless supply of rotten discoverys giving an easier and more powerful upgrade it's no longer a popular choice for land rover owners

Thanks for that. We are so fond of him that we sort of want him to live on, but think he's bound for scrap
