I am a new member living in SE Cornwall.
I have a 20 year old Disco 2 which is just a hobby but also to get around when it snows...yes we do get snow!
My first Landy was in 1966 and a series 2a run in conjunction with an Austin Champ.
Working in East Africa at the time so never drove on a tarmac road for years!

Hello and welcome from me too:)
My dad had a champ in the early 1970s.
I was the coolest kid on the school run:cool:

Hi there.
Thanks for the welcome
Austin champ was a great vehicle....Rolls Royce engine, independent suspension, and a wading depth of six foot plus!
Had its problems too.

Yes, I can remember bragging to my school friends that my dad had a roller and non of them believing me untill they saw the badge.
I'm not sure if the RR badge was a standard thing? Or something my dad stuck on there.
He's dead now so can't ask him.
