Hi all, new to the site and hoping to find some help with an electrical problem on my 2001 Freelander 1
I have an intermitant fault that when I go to unlock the vehicle the fob doesn't seem to work. So I open it with the key and only the drivers door unlocks. The vehicle will start and run fine, but the radio doesn't work, neither do the interior lights, electric windows, clock, or rear wash wipe.
This morning this happened and I drove to work, had to lock it using the key. Came out of work and the car opened open on the fob and everything was working, albeit the clocks that was 4 hours slow.
This happened once before and everything came back whilst i was driving it.
I have replaced the battery in the fob and checked some of the fuses. Now at a bit of a lose end. Am slightly concerned as if this happens an I accidently lock the drivers door whilst inside, I am unable to get out as the the unlock button inside doesn't work when this fault occurs.
Any help would be appreciated.
