Hi all,
I hope that all you Landy experts can give me a bit of advice.
I have a 2001 Disco. I have just had a suspension compressor fitted (the 2nd one since last April!). Luckily it was covered by the L/Rover parts warranty as it was less than 12 months old, but i need to fit a new filter (that resides in the rear nearside light cluster). Does anybody know of a way to stop the intake sucking water into the compressor from the intake in the light cluster?
Cheers.

do you know why its getting water in it? because the drains for the sun roofs are there just extend the pipe past the filter and you will be fine

Hi mate, thanks for getting back to me.
My Disco does not have any sunroofs (mainly because the three others I've had in the past with them have all leaked), so there must be another reason for it. I have just had the light cluster off to look at the filter (and change the saturated foam insert) and I could see where water was being thrown up inside the rear door column, below the light cluster from the wheel arch. Maybe if i raise the filter with a length of hose so it is not within reach of the thrown up water it will stop it sucking water in? Its gotta be worth a shot as L/R are charging over £300 just for the compressor alone!
Cheers.
