I need some advice about range rover keys.
I bought a replacement key off the internet and when I had it cut at a local key cutters the key wouldn't turn in the ignition .I assumed the key had been badly cut so as the next option I pulled the metal part of the key out of the plastic part and put the original metal part that did work into the new fob.The fob now locks and unlocks the car but the key now wont turn in the ignition.
car is a vogue 2006.
