Just purchased a '95 on an M plate Range Rover 4.6 HSE in Epsom Green with tan leather interior. It's an auto and has LPG conversion. It appears to be in excellent order throughout and has been well looked after and also has a complete full service history.
I have had a RR before, which was a 1984 3.5 Classic in red with tan interior. This I had for about a year and a half and it never let me down and whetted my appetite for a newer one.
Unfortunately three days into owning the current one I have had the dreaded immobiliser problem....(lock car with handset, then cannot reopen with handset so open with key but immobiliser stays operative). Flatbedded into LR dealer this afternoon and I await the prognosis!!
Tried the EKA process but to no avail as did the recovery guy and the garage. Hoping its the RF Receiver problem which appears to solve all sorts according to a very interesting thread I read here.
Anyway, I will report back on the problem. Looking forward to learning a lot on here and hopefully giving some helpful hints too!
