I live in Essex purchased a 2002 freelander1 CatC all fixed up so I thought have noise from steering but not when driving n.s.f all been changed from where damage was am in your hands help please

Hello and Welcome. Could you enter this question on the Freelander forum for better result. You say the vehicle is cat C. What was the cause and result of the accident. Does the steering column still able to move up and down freely with the release lever. Depending on the accident was the Air Bag deploy or do all the light on the dash go out okay. SRS (orange). Depending on where the damage was there could be an issue with the steering rack being out of key.
