I've spent the last couple days digging through sorting little bits and pieces starting with the wiring that I'm sure my son could have done a better job fog lights wired in speaker wire using twist and tape reverse flood wired in speaker wire do wonder if people have any sense also seats been changed to leather electric only forward backwards motion works so upon further investigation would seem they decided to just throw a complete central consul loom in and a hope for the best so all that removed still only have forward and backward motion if someone has a wiring diagram for the seats would be much appreciated As would be nice for full motion but I do plan to remove seats at some point to fit some after market buckets I then took upon the dreaded task of investigating for rust starting from back and not looking to sad except one hole found so far but I will be getting a new boot floor done sooner than later

Thanks fozt I'm looking at wadding kit suspension poly bush usual offrroad items bumpers snorkel e.t.c also like the looks of the led rear lights from Bolt on bits
Ok So I've just spent some time looking underneath prodding and pokeing seems chassis is solid little surface rust but nothing of concern but the body on the other hand going to need some tlc mainly front inner wings and boot floor but I think first task is to investigate mounts a little more in depth

I have one question people may be able to help seems my disco sits high thinking it may have been lifted On drivers visor says height should be 76" mine is 79" but when I look rear springs I find there is an extra spring inside the rear spring question is why ??

Sounds like you've got plenty of work ahead of you then mate!

They look similar to "X-Springs". I believe they have a similar function to dislocation cones but also force your wheels to contact the ground. I could be wrong but that's what they look like to me!

Would seem so mate plan is to attack it bit at a time while modding

And thanks had a look online they do look similar might end up keeping them if that's the case just replace shocks clean then repaint e.t.c and just go for a body lift for a little extra height
