I am helping a friend with work on a defender 110 MY 1998. We are replacing the front wheel bearings but have a problem with the inner seal (of the hub). When I have replaced the seal on my own vehicle (MY 2004) then I use part number FTC4785 which about 80mm in diameter but this seal is too loose when fitted to his hub. His hub has the number HRC1924 stamped on it and the diameter at rear of the hub seal aperture is about 84mm to 85mm. I've searched parts diagrams and can't fathom out what seal to use. Maybe the hub comes from a series 3 or Disco? Any help much appreciated.
