The crankshaft / front housing oilseal does leak on occasion ...the new oil seal part number is ERR5992 and you can replace it carefully if you need to change the crankshaft pulley, but remember to fit it DRY ...

Could be the belt tensioner ... has it made any screeching noises beforehand ?
hi no noises at all its been fine the belt is still tight under tension by looks of it but not tturning with the eengine

If the belt still has reasonable tension and the crank pulley is turning you need to take the belt off and see whether anything driven by the belt the (alternator / power steering / tensioner etc) has seized. If the crank pulley isn't turning then the woodruff key has sheared

Did it squeal when the engine ran with the belt not turning? this would say that something is locking up the belt, that must be pretty solid because the belt is driven by the crank shaft pulley which is a big grooved unit and would not slip very easily, would expect the belt to turn and slip over the frozen pulley.
If it just sits there not moving but quiet then maybe the crank drive pulley is bust and the grooved outer is not turning, I would expect some noise from that though.

Well at least that should be a relatively quick fix (although not necessarily cheap) I assume the inner bit of the pulley (with the attachment bolt) is turning but the outer isn't?
