Hi all, hoping that someone will know whats wrong! Had a bit of trouble whilst doing a spot of laning today. Ended up with the rear drivers side wheel deep in a watery mud hole, totally stuck. Anyway now back on dry land and the braking is atrocious, noticed that front discs are getting hot and working, but rear discs are both stone cold, just going out to hose the mud off and take a look, but could do with some ideas of what to look for. BTW the handbrake warning light is permanently on now, although the handbrake is most definitely off! Thanks in advance! (1997 Discovery 300 TDI)

Sounds like you've trashed your rear brake pipe. Your disco has 2 independent brake fluid circuits, one that just goes to the front (I think strangely this is called the primary circuit) and one that goes to all four brakes (secondary circuit). Your warning light is probably a brake fluid warning light.
