Wheelbearings on my series 3 as par all of em are held in by a washer, nut, lock washer and a nut.

On mine the outer nut has a sleeve on it with a slot cut into the sleeve, that will line uo with the part of the hub (The outer bit thats held on by 5 bolts) On my hubs there are no lock/unlock things.

What I desperately need is the outer nut with the sleeve on. If anyone can help, or point me to someone who would stock this part (No joy with usual Padds Cradds etc)

This is one of the nuts that hold the bearings in, NOT the castelated one with a split pin...

TIA

try a main dealer , its called a hub nut.

Sounds Like you have auto freewheeling hubs. You best bet is to bin them and fit standard drive members (the bits that sit in the middle of the hub held on with six bolts) Standard outer nut (the drive member won't fit over the sleeved nut) and standard bolts (yours will be two long. They are BSF so you will probably have to go to a LR supplier for them) Someone like Paddock or Craddocks should be able to supply all of them. and they shouldn't cost too much
