Fitted the new coil and distributor today,only problem now being cant get it to fire at all
coming from the distributor theres 2 wires a red one and a black one,,, this then clips into the wiring supplied(making it longer so it can reach the coil) so making the wires 1 red and 1 green.
Im assuming the red goes to + and the green goes to - on the coil(although the green wire has a female spade terminal and the terminal on the coil also has a female spade terminal) anyway I got round that as I had a spare connector to go in between in two in my tool box.
Theres also a wire that I removed off the old coil that comes from behind the bulk head(white in colour) from the igniton which I have connected to + also ( as this is where it was removed from on old coil)
Can anyone on here just confirm for me all the above is correct and that I arnt going crazy:doh:
