Help - Classic Stereo head unit swap

My original stereo has died and I want to change it. It's a 94 soft dash vogue se with subwoofer in the back. I've identified the connections on the back of the original head unit and the top (pink) connector provides signals to the sub woofer.
Does anyone know if these are preamp signals or line level? I need to understand if I need to buy a head unit with separate sub woofer preamp output?
