Hi Folks,
Having gained a lot of help and information during the process of getting my Series 3 running correctly and through the hell of a Swiss MOT ( no oil leaks allowed!! ) I thought it was time to register properly and give something back.

So I own an ex Fire Service (Zürich Airport) Series III 88, when i bought it it had only 9000km on the clock as it had only ever driven around an airport before it's previous owner (it now has a little under 12k) so as you can imagine it is completely rust free, although it had sat around doing nothing and the previous owner had abused it as a weekend off road plaything.

Now it's known to me and my kids as the Red Dragon (we have Welsh Family) and She is my faithfull daily driver down the mountain to the local railway station and my commute to the office.

Goes without saying should anyone be passing the East end of Switzerland ( Snakt Gallen region) need space for camping or breakdown rescue - translation and so on please get in touch.

Take care out there Folks

Simon

Welcome to the zone/zoo ,same thing! Great you're enjoying your Landrover, thanks for the kind offer, someone is bound to be passing by sooner or later

Been a few times myself, both summer and winter - bl@@dy gorgeous place - intend to go back too!

One can only imagine their MOT testers must accept "ex-gratia" payments into their beer funds or there would be no Landy's on the road.

Hi Guys, As we speak my partner and I are driving through France and heading for Switzerland in our Landrover which is doing us proud. We have a roof tent and would really appreciate some great places to camp if anyone knows of anywhere?
Many thanks
:)
