Hi, I'm Roy (wingdinger1) and just wanted to say hello.

I currently have 2 Land Rovers, a 200TDi Disco and a 300TDi classic RR. I also have my own 4 x 4 driving centre based in Warwickshire where we offer simple experience driving through to full professional driver training.

I went Green Laning for the first time on Sunday 16th and really enjoyed it. So hopefully I'll get to meet some of you in the not too distant future.

In the meantime, all the best.

Roy.:D

Take your point, but what we offer is skills training and laning is just one use for those skills. Sorry you're not inspired but that's not a problem, it's not for everyone.

Cheers,

Roy.

I was referring more to the way it came across in your introduction. as opposed to the type of driving you preferred. A litle more detail about your skills and/or experience would have helped to shine a brighter light so to speak.

OK, thanks for your advice. I didn't want to use this forum as any form of advertising, but as you have asked, here goes............

I am a fully qualified LANTRA approved driving instructor which for those that don't know means I am authorised not only to train drivers to professional standard but also issue them with a Europoean wide qualification if they pass the test.

The test is strict allowing for a maximum of only two mistakes in what are known as the serious sectors (using brakes, poor use of the transmission, throttle control etc) so the training given has to precise and the candidate has to be very capable in using the skills to gain a qualification.

My site is also the only authorised LANTRA site in Warwickshire.

All the best,

Roy.:D
