Hi I’m new to this stuff so sorry if I go on a bit , I recently fitted a new cv joint to my 56 plate td4 sport the joint wouldn’t go int the hub with the abs ring on , on inspecting the old one it didn’t have the ring on either so I removed the new one later that day I got the three amigos I’ve fitted a new brake light switch to no avail could it be the missing ring my abs seems to still work any advice appreciated thank you in advance

As for the issue you best pop in the Freelander section for a better answer. Did you have a diagnostic tester for finding faults and clearing.
