Hello all, from a very sunny Southport in NW England. Looks like summer has finally arrived here.
I've been lurking on this site for a while now, just familiarizing myself with your stories and joy and mayhem with Land Rover ownership. Ever since the first RR was launched back in the mid 70's I've always longed to own one, but life and mortgage just always seemed too big an obsticle to overcome. Anyway, at long last I am about to join the hordes, and hope that I will be able to share some of my experiences as well as delve into the deep wealth of knowledge within your forum. I have been searching for a P38 for months and not been able to find one I liked, so cutting a long story short I take delivery of a 17 year old L322 on Thursday this week. I am rather too excited for my own good, so much so that I couldn't wait to tell someone other than my wife. So you are those chosen ones! Overwhelmed you be not, however at least I have managed to say hello. I will share some photos of the lovely Lass (RR not wife) as soon as I can. She is not without her faults already I have a list, that will be supplimented by all of the routine maintenance I shall tackle as soon as she lands. Cheers all. Mark.
