Hi all,
Just joined so thought I'd say hello.
I brought a Freelander 2.0 TD4 several months back. Used to have a petrol guzzling 3ltr long wheel base Shogun but things were starting to go wrong so thought I'd get me a Landy. I looked at quite a few Discos but ended up with the Freelander. I would have preferred a Defender but couldn't find a reasonable one for my budget at the time. I know this wallows about a bit but seems economical to run and the missus can drive it with hitting stuff...(dont ask) I did the EGR bypass and that went well.
I came across this forum when looking for help taking the starter out as the Haynes manual is all but useless
anyway thanks to you guys I found the mystery bolt although I did first remove the 15mm one that is loitering near by! Waiting for the solenoid kit to arrive and hopefully that'll sort my intermittent starting problem out.
