Just got myself a '93 Discovery, 129000 miles and a bit worse for wear but it was cheap, it has 5 months tax and 12 months MOT and except for some drive train lash, (front axle I think) seems to run ok. This years winter project.
Hopefully it will be ready to go to Morocco in Feb when I'm going to help support my daughter's off road bike school on a couple of circuits. Gives me an excuse for a bit of off-roading as well without any fear of upsetting the sheep or walkers and getting the better part of a month in the sun at the worst time of year.
I just have to fix the one or two "small" things first
So I expect I will be asking a few stupid questions but be gentle with me, I will get better.
