Hi,
Thought I would join up, as it appears that the landy bug has bitten again, and have been enjoying site and the insightful posts as a lurker.
A quick bit about the important thing, after being parked up for 10 years, my long neglected 109 2A is up on the stands and undergoing a bit of a refurb. For sitting outside for 10 years, and the only work undertaken was the canvas and hoops removed and an old hard top dropped on, it was quite a nice surprise that there was still some steel in the chasis and bulkhead (rapidly becoming apparent not as much as first thought, but some).
For 5 years prior to being parked up I was using it as my daily vehicle, and it was regulary called upon to transport a group of us and associated climbing kit to the south of Spain via the Pyrenees.
Enjoying getting back into it.
