Hello from Lancashire! I bought a hard top 90 TD5 in Feb, for the love of it, then took it off road a few times and love it even more. The thing has been to a garage for a service and some big jobs to make it good for the foreseeable future...... for reasons I do not wish to discuss, in future I'll be doing everything else on the car myself. So, I thought it best to come on here to speak people who've already made all the mistakes for me and can show me how things are done!

Good choice of vehicle. I've got one of those myself. Yes, where possible it's always better to do your own repairs, then at least you know it's been done with the right spares and it's a whole lot cheaper too.

We'll see how I get on. First job is to understand where the oil soaking my streering rack is coming from, before I head off to Cumbria on Sunday for some green laning. Thanks for the welcome.
