Hello from New Zealand

I am Brian and Ilive in Upper Hutt, New Zealand within the Wellington region. I have two V6 Freelanders, one is a 2002 3 Door sports model and the other a 5 door model. At present the 3 door is having its engine reconditioned as it was over heating and when I took it to the mechanic he said that it would be wise to get a replacement motor so on the strength of that I decided to pull the motor out and send it to the engine rebuilders. While the cost is high it is not equal to buying a new car which I was about to do a month ago. I am really keen to get my sports landy up and running because it is in real mint condition all original. She is also so comfortable to travel in on long Journey’s so why give up on her. Anyway I am currently having issues with the 5 door but I feel assured that I am in the right spot to finding resolutions to my problems. The main problem I am having is a slight vibration while driving. I read some posts of people whom had a similar problem and the fix appears to be replacing the two front wheel Drive shafts.
