Well I suppose it is about time I introduced myself.
I'm Dan from Asfordby near Melton Mowbray. I have always wanted a landy since I was a kid. Now 29 and just got my 1st one.
I bought a 1986 90 (Yes I know not a Defender
) 2.5 N/A from Craig on these forums.
Looking to get the servicing up to scratch, clean it up, sort the bit of rust on the bulk head and O/S lower A pillar and do a bit of green laneing.
I started this weekend with an oil filter, oil and air filter change. I must say it has been a joy to work compared to other cars I have worked on....loving not having to get my jack out to change the oil Next will be diesel filter, axle oil, transfer box oil, gear box oil, front swivels and greasing the prop and UJ's.
