Hi everyone, thought it was about time I signed up on here, as I do occasionally get on for a lurk!

I'm Stephen, live in Cumbria but originally from Northern Ireland. I'm a Mechanical Engineer by trade and have had 3 landies, still have the most recent two, only picked the most recent up two weeks ago!

This was my first, bought it when I was still at uni, ran it as my only vehicle for a few months, 2.25 petrol, 12 seats, Avon Ranger mk2s, HD springs, bit of a handful! Scarily slow on hills though, 2nd o/d on NSL hills isn't a nice place to be, suspected Weber carb but it was bankrupting me quickly so I had to sell on and buy an LPG'd modern, didn't have the time to LPG the 109. Still miss this one! A really honest old thing, even down to the raised digit plates on it.

It lives nearish Birmingham now, still get updates from the current owners, where it rubs shoulders with their two series ones. Which is nice!

Then just after last Christmas I bought this for myself, to use as a second (well, third) car. I read the spec before I saw any photos, which encouraged me to buy it, as I prefer the original look... Picked it up in Aberlour on Jan 3rd, and drove it back to SW Cumbria, in the snow, with no heater. Just beat the snow gates closing on the A9 as well!

Galvy chassis, parabolics, recent tyres, 5 bearing engine, o/d, capstan winch, halogen lamps, LPG etc. I've brought the LPG up to scratch, removed the A bar as I want to bring the front panels back to s2a, going to fit steelies with A/Ts, and I've painted it just this weekend...

And now for my third Landie, and my new daily...

2004 TD5 Landmark manual, in great condition overall, just needing a few common niggles sorted like injector loom, MAF etc. I've already had both sunroofs out to re-seal after getting a bit of a shower on the day after I bought it. I'm quite happy with it as standard, but might add some extra lamps to the front, and want some ATs on it for winter, as my daily drive around Cumbria can get interesting!

Sorry for rambling!
