Hello all, I don't really know where to post this as it could cover different area's perhaps?.
Less than a month ago I purchased A L322 vogue td6 from 2004 .
I paid £2k for it and it came with 162k on the clock and full Landy service up to 130k ( and a great pile of paperwork to show it's past ) but today the police helped me move it from blocking the city centre completely off for other people. Ha ha.
It started with losing reverse, then drive, then lots of dark smoke from front end and followed up with not moving even if in neutral, then ended with the recovery truck driver saying neither fronts will roll but both rear wheels will so ?. And I later found a puddle of dark oil where it broke down.
Gearbox or front diff or transfer box or chuck a burning match to it ?.
Any help please, I'm not sure what to do?. Thanks. Luke.
