Rimmer bros do a uprated heater matrix as do a few other companys just wondering has any1 tryed 1 of them again they look a bit costly 4 what they r but my feet do get rather cold in the winter as i'm sure every1 else's do what have people done to get around the problem? the only thing i can think of doing is fitting one heater matrix in front of the other and make the heater box bigger any ideas any 1?

I'd have a look at the foam seals in the box and the dashboard first I've just replaced all mine, the original ones were non existant. Don't realy see how you can upgrade the matrix as the water going through it will be the same and it can only carry so much heat.

i think its got more vains in it so more water so there 4 more heat is transfered into the air blowen by the fan which is also the same as my idea with the 2 matrix's

did changing the foam seals help at all?

Dunno yet only just done it still scraping glue off my fingers and counting the rivet stems. Certainly won't have done it any harm, most of the air was ****ing out into the engine bay. Looking at the route the air takes through the dash you could have half a dozen matrixes full of super heated water an it still wunt make any difference.

had a look all the form in the engine bay looks fine n there is quite a good blow coming out of the vents, thing is i dont think there is actualy anything wrong with the heater i mean it says genuine land over part on it so it meant to be crap thing is i want a gud 1 :p i have heard of people fitting fiesta not latly tho
