Just fitted the electrical wiring today, after having the screen fitted last week.
lt takes time but is not difficult. Relay block mounted in battery box, live to battery and earth to mounting screw.
Wiring routed underneath via spare bung in battery box, through grommet next to heater.
Aux live earth and panel light all connected to cigarette lighter.
Live and earth to screen. Two wires to switch (l had the LR one) just plug in to connector.
The time taken is to remove the top/front of the dash plus binnacle, heater switches and centre console. It's probably possible to do without, but easier if you take it all out.
Took me 4 hours but that included sorting out a few other jobs while the dash was out.

No it was too cold! The windows froze up with my breath. At least l was able to defrost the windscreen when l'd finished

Nice one lightning you will wonder how you coped without one on these icy days.:):)

Did you get the heated screen and wiring as part off a kit? And who fitted the screen was it one off the national companies you see advertised like Autoglass?

Yes the screen was fitted by Auto Aid windscreens, who do them for the local Land Rover Defender dealers.
The wiring was a Britpart kit which cost £115.
