Hi All,

I have just today purchashed my first range rover! I have done well over 200 miles today and absolutley love it.

I have found this forum and can see it being a great help :)

A few questions I cant find answers on are the headlights - I am hoping to take it off road in a few weeks time, does anyone know what the maximum power bulbs I can install. I have found some H4 100w on eBay but I dont want to burn anything out. Plus the dipped beam looks slights different to a H4.

Sorry the questions is a little dumb!

Any replies will be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Danny

Only go for the recommended 55 bulbs unless you have an uprated alternator and good battery - especially in this colder winter weather. The higher current draw will wake up some dormant gremlins as I found out. LED lights will also cause some problems.

PIAA do interesting bulbs (demontweaks) which draw 55w but have an output closer to 100w - how true that is I don't know.

The only time I use halfrauds is for there BOGOF on bulbs. Go for the ultimate brilliance as the whiter light on these makes a difference and still only draws 55w. Stock up on these as they don't last as long IMO. 4 bulbs for £50?
