Hi, can anyone help?

I have a 2005 Defender 90 Td5. I keep getting intermittent loss of the indicators. They don't light up and the dash indicator doesn't either. If I quickly turn the hazards on (they work) and quickly off again, the indicators start working again as normal.
Any suggestions?

clean or replace hazard switch they get ****ty inside on terminals through lack of use !!!!!!!! strange you may say it being a land rover and all ..,,,lol

The other thing I've found helps is changing the flasher control unit. People call it a 'relay' but it's got more than just an electrically operated switch inside. On my TD5 (a 2006 model) it was behind the instrument cluster as I remember.

I had the same. the indicators go through the hazard switch, so if it Cocks up so do the indicators.
I suffered a relay and hazard switch fault at the same time so both needed doing.
