Hazard switch Defender 90

Dear All
I have a slight problem that you may be able to help me with
When I switch on the ignition the hazards come on when I switch the hazard switch the other way the trailer light and hazards flash on the dashboard
Has anyone any suggestions where to investigate the fault
I've ordered a new switch to see if it's that
Any ideas greatly received

Could well be the switch they aren't the best to be fair. I replaced 2 in the first few yrs of my ownership then fitted a dash pod thing (mud stuff) and fitted one of their Carling switches for the hazards and another for the hrw.
No issues in 10yrs since.

I'm going to try a new switch and yes Ive ordered a raptor dash insert
to fit new switches

Just remembered I also fitted a Carling for the interior light as well.
So I've got 4 Carling's, hazard, hrw, interior lights and electric rad fan manual override.
The hole left by the old switch panel I filled with the interior door pull off some scrap car (metro iirc) so a little extra storage
