Cheers for the help guys, spent the past two days working on it, replacing the pump, fan, viscous fan clutch, pulleys and the radiator, sawing apart the old viscous unit that had fused itself together. I've just driven it back to London from Hampshire and it seems absolutely fine. Should have taken some pictures but didn't have a camera handy, that said, I'm pretty much a pro on cooling systems now, so if anyone has any questions in the future...
I got all my parts from Craddocks, who were good IMO.
I was never aware how much bloody coolant you need to fill an engine! It took about 9 litres....
