Hand brake not working sticking..

Hi

My 2a handbrake is sticking on ,so before I pull things apart is there something I can just club with a hammer...?

Possible resons would be good also....1970 2a if that makes a difference...

prob just wants a strip down and a clean. they get full of shyte and stuff. a tiny pebble or crud, is enough to cause sticking.

There is a good artical in this months LRO (Landrovers owners internatinal) all about servising a series hand brake.
