Well, we just drove our Series 3 up to Northern Scotland from Hampshire, as part of our general move North. We've had him for a month or so (bought from someone on this forum). Just did some routing maintenance before setting off, then off we went.
605 miles in 2.5 days, camping along the way, and he never missed a beat! Chugged along at 45-50 mph, on backroads wherever possible. We left it at our new home in the Highlands and returned to Hampshire on the overnight sleeper. I'm now "stuck" with the Disco 3 until we make the permanent move in two weeks time.
If anyone wants / needs to do a similar trip and is interested in the route we took, let me know and I'll happily post it.
