Did I read that the Series metal cap can be used instead of the rubber/plastic ones?
Don't know exactly but I know a hammer is involved. How do the series ones hold on? At least the plastic ones grip a lip
These things?

Alloys are going to be replaced by fake Wolf wheels. It's on a 1989 Ninety, whatever spline that is, will have to check.Ps they do them as a kit also, iirc.
You get the Allen cap hub fasteners, which allow you more flexibility with alloys, and some other bits.
It was me, my Ninety has series metal caps. Whack on with rubber mallet with smear of sealer on the edge.I'm thinking it might have been @tottot who could have mentioned it?

Yep, its got drums on the rear. The not-modern one.
Some late 200s are disc brake, but im thinking yours must still be drum, so it has lower number of fatter splines on the ends of the shafts.
