...and I liked it!
I was away with a group of Gold DofE participants in the Lake District this weekend on their expedition and brought the disco with the off chance of a play. Fortunately enough one of the other leaders (unbeknown to me) is trained in off roading and the abilities of these vehicles through his work (he is a man of the law). This lead to a day of fun!
Didn't do anything taxing, a few tracks, fords and common land routes. I must admit its good to know that the use of a map, and some knowledge of accessibility restrictions and there are places out there which can be enjoyed without the need of massive modifications and risking too much. On saying that though, I'm looking forward to the next time the chance occurs and pushing the limits a little further. I'm new to this so some gentle hills and tracks suited me just fine for now!
