grey smoke

i have a 90 with a 200tdi disco lump fitted,i has been fine since i fitted it 4 months ago until yesterday when my wife was driving it :doh:,lost all power and emitted loads of grey smoke.it will start but only run for about 30 secs ,it was low on diesel at the time so i suspected it had sucked in some crap from the bottom of the tank ,i have checked the filter and have bled the lines and have plenty of diesel reaching the pump,would it be the head gasket? it did not overheat.

Pull the head and have a look dead easy on the tdi engines as the cambelt is in the block, so basically undo everything and just lift it off.

turned out to be the hose between the airbox and the turbo ,when i fitted the tdi in i used a flexible hose off an old 19j turbo they are made in 2 parts an the inner part had seperated causing the air intake to block.
i have some tight twists and turns on it to get to the airbox and have bodged it back together using part ridgid hose and the good bits off the 19j hose to make the bends but i am looking for a more permanant solution hopefully without moving the airbox,i have seen one done with flexi pipe that came with a snorkel does any one know where i can get it from?

e bay search 63mm silicone hose i think its like big vacuum cleaner hose.
