I am overdue getting to use this forum but here I am, Hi I'm bernie and I currently have a n reg 300tdi special vehicles and an lpg 4.6 1986 defender 90 4c. They are both fairly recent projects to me and over the years I have had a lot of classic range rovers as well a a handfull of 110's and lightweights.

I am generally happy with them both at the moment, but there are always things to do and that is the curse of the people that can fix things!

Things on my to do list

Discovery....
Get a new exhaust manifold gasket and figure out how to get to the manifold to change it.
Get some new studs and bolts for above manifold.

Take to offside passengers door card off and get the window working.I soldered up the ecu for the back windows and one now works, the other shows a current drain on the lights when you push the switch.

Wire up the brooklands bumper spotlights and figure out why my main beam only works when i pull the flash.

service it!

Defender....
Soundproofing!

Locks need doing

When I take my foot off the throttle at medium speed, I hear a humming/grinding fom the rear....not bad but bad enough to make me prick my ears up!

......And so on!

I've tried to put a pic of the 90 up, here goes!

That was indeed what it was when I bought it last year, Now it has a 4.6 rpi v8 in on an auto with a viscous transfer.
MSD ignition and lpg, great fun!

I have been looking forward to having this on the road for quite a while, the engine is lovely and being an rpi one has been ultrasound checked for liner thickness so I shouldnt be taking it out anytime soon (I hope). Now that and the auto is in I will be chasing the niggles with the vehicle down, still it is a head turner!
