Greetings from Guildford

Hi all

Recently shelled-out on a 1992 Defender 110 CSW (200Tdi) and am occasionally wondering whether I've done the right thing (I keep seeing rusty bits that I'm sure 'weren't there before').

It's my first 'proper' Landy, after a number of years of owning a Freelander (which is now cluttering-up the drive with the usual terminal HG problem -- it wasn't so much of a problem the first time it failed, when it was still on the extended warranty!!)

Anyway, I'd like to meet up with enthusiasts local to Guildford (Surrey) for possible green-laning and general moral support (see first paragraph!). Are there any clubs nearby?

Keep an eye out for T*O*S*S*E*Rs laning trips, we've been over your way a couple of times fairly recently. There's our laning trip & BBQ on 10th Aug. Have a shufty in the greenlaning section.

Wotcha from Farnborough. Keep your eye out for any events in the green laning section. We'll be going out scarin' ramblers as soon as I get the 110 back on the road after it's engine upgrade.
