Green Lanes in Lincolnshire?

On my way home today I took a little detour in my RR just to waste some time on my way home from a dull day at work! Anyway, I followed a few tracks which weren't taxing by any means - a bit bumpy and muddy - but it brightened up my day! It was obvious other people had driven down these tracks before (and fairly recently) but having looked into BOATS and other lincolnshire rights of way - I'm not sure I should have driven down them (bit late now I know)! Well I was wondering if anyone knows of anywhere to go and play in lincolnshire (in know it's mostly flat)!!!! Alternatively is there a way I can find out if the tracks are legal for driving on? The OS Map states it is an "other road, drive or track" with "other route with public access" with the additional OS caveat. Any help / advice would be appreciated - don't want to anger farmers or put the 4x4 fraternity into disrepute! Cheers
