Hi all,
I'm after getting into green laning as I can no longer do enduro riding due to breaking my legs! I'm after a bit of advice on what car to buy from my first 4x4. Also some advice on what sort of thing to watch out for/look for when buying one!

Cheers!

Welcome to the forum. Pay and play is where you visit something like a disused quarry and get stuck in whereas if you're an enduro biker you're probably more used to green laning. You don't need a road legal vehicle for pay and play but green laning needs tax, mot and insurance.
5-6 k would buy you something pretty decent regardless of which model you go for but don't think you have to buy one fully kitted out as they all are pretty capable in standard spec for 95% of green lanes.
Plenty of buying advice in the relevant sections but if it were me I'd probably be drawn to a defender due to its simplicity of maintenance or a series again simple to maintain but also tax free.
