hi, what oil do i use for 1997 4.0 manual gearbox and where do i put the gearbox oil, i have looked underneath and cudnt notice anywhere obvious it goes

In the UK, Europe and Downunder, you should be able to find Castrol SMX-S.

In North America, use Synthetic Manual SynchromeshTransmission Fluid (MTF)
SAE 5W-30.

There is a drain plug at the bottom of your gearbox and a fill plug on the right side about. Drain and fill to the fill plug level.
