Hi all,

When I bought my defender it had been fitted with a new gearbox with a longer 5th for motorway usability. I’m assuming it’s going to be the same oil needed MTF94?

Cheers IMG_1373.jpeg

I use Dexron III (ATF) from Smith Allen in my 'longer 5th' Winchester gearbox (yours looks like an Ashcroft build, sticker and painted over drain plug are the clues).
MTF 94 is the oil I think they reccommend, have a quick look on their website.

That is a very sexy new setup .... are you splitting to install or putting it in in one lump ?

What about a clutch ?

I have a lightly used (less that 100mile from new0, LOF HD POWERSpec clutch for sale soon for £150 (couple of months probably).
You need to buy the release bearing #EXTREMEspec HD release bearing FTC5200 as i'll be keeping that in my D90

I also have a new ROADspec clucth (new in the box, never opened) for sale to @ £110 (available now).
