'evening...... Have ahd a look through similar problems, but none appear to be like mine! I'm assuming this a selector problem, but before I delve further would appreciate opinions.
1984 V8 110 County. LT95 4 speed 'box.
Becoming very hard to get into 2nd gear. 1st, 3rd and 4th easy. It does go in, but needs a heavy yank on lever and does so without any gear crunching. Clutch appears to be OK - can select any other gear and pull away. I changed the oil (20/50) within last 2000 miles, level still OK.
Have tried without engine running and it is the same. but once into 2nd can go to neutral and back to 2nd OK. If I go from 2nd to 3rd and then try to get back into 2nd it's hard again.
Any ideas?
