Garrett or Mitsubishi turbo

Hi guys just wandering which turbo unit is more reliable on the TD4?

I only know of Garrett turbo on TD4s.

Not sure if anyone else has but despite lots of 'talk' i've never actually heard of a single definite turbo failure.

I'm not sure about a turbo failing, but I beleieve the seals can go, resulting in the oil being sucked out of the engine, and so the engine seizing.
Not 100% certain as it was a warranty job, so it was just swapped (the whole engine) and the old one sent back, so we're basing our assumption on the symptoms.
