G4 challenge

Does anyone no if the G4 challeng is shown on any TV channel. Wouldn't mind watching it.

Unless it's being repeated from 3 (?) years ago, no.
The 2009 event isn't due until around June, except it's been cancelled.

how do you participate in it, i wouldnt mind doing it and winning it for england (we need to win at something afterall)

Keep an eye on the Land Rover Web site and when the next one is announced, probably next year, send off an entry. If your one of the 400 or so selected from the thousands of entries you might end up in the selections, about 3 days of hell. The top four from each country then go through to the next stage when the two UK team memebers are selected. It demands high, and I mean high, levels of fitness, lop level canoers, mountain bikers, climbers etc. Triathlon type competitors.

landy main dealer at battersea have got an 08 disco 3, tangiers orange, with all the g4 kit, up for £40k. I thought they had to return them to standard before selling them to the public ? nice though

Not necessarily, if they do revive it in a year or so, it would be with all that year's products, so just because they are selling off everything they didn't use this year, it doesn't mean it will never come back.
Have to say I think it's unlikely, but when things improve we may see something similar.

We are running a challenge down here in cornwall instead if you want to take part. Called the kernow challenge you have to drive a landy and eat a lot of pasties
